This stunning piece is handcrafted from sustainable mango wood and is enough to turn your display into a statement spread.
Mango wood is a by-product of the fruit industry so, not only is this board 100% biodegradable, but it also reuses material that once was destined to become ash.
We have decided to let the natural tone and grain of the mango wood impress by not applying any lacquer or stain. However, a quick coat of olive oil or our board oil, ref: RBPCBO, is all that is needed if you would like a deeper shade.
The slender shape of the board allows you to stretch across surfaces, creating eye catching centrepieces, without limiting room for place settings or further decorations such of flower arrangements or candles. The handle allows easy transportation and placement/removal from your buffet or display. As do the two small wooden feet underneath the board, which also create a small riser!
This board is perfect for tasting or share platters and we recommend using waxed paper when displaying any unwrapped food, making the clean up even easier as well.
