2 Saucy is a Manchester‑based manufacturer producing a bold range of all‑purpose sauces, including Mango Chilli, Korean Pepper and Honey & Mustard. The brief
2 Saucy needed three different sizes of transit packaging to accommodate 1, 2 and 3 glass bottles. Their key requirements were as follows:

Our solution
The box
We recommended FEFCO 0427 boxes, a go‑to choice for e‑commerce brands and with good reason. These boxes are strong, quick and easy to assemble, self‑locking, and board‑efficient. Furthermore, they are so widely used that consumers intuitively know how to open them. They can also be custom‑printed, so it’s fair to say they tick all the boxes.
The inserts
Beyond the single‑bottle design, our team engineered the 2 and 3 bottle options with integrated inserts to separate and protect the bottles during transit. We also created pre-production samples so 2 Saucy could review the style and structure. This ensured they were satisfied that our solution met their expectations.
The print
Using just one flexo colour, we reversed out the logo and text to reveal the kraft board beneath, giving the packaging the premium feel of a two‑colour design without increasing costs.
