16inch natural wicker hamper basket made from steamed autumn willow, finished with sturdy faux leather straps for closing the hamper baskets, smaller sizes boast a decorative faux leather carry handle. Empty wicker hampers are versatile and can be dressed to appeal to a wide range of customers. Simply changing the colour of shred and fill will open up your gift offerings to a host of potential suitors and once gifted, this hamper can be reused time and time again. Willow is naturally sustainable as it grows prolifically throughout the northern hemisphere and is harvested regularly through the year. For strength our wicker is boiled for 6-8 hours. We also choose to dry our wicker baskets naturally in the sun making them more durable and avoiding use of coal-fuelled drying rooms. All sealants and stains are entirely water-based so that no nasty varnishes and chemicals are used in the making of these hampers making them ideal for use as a food gift hamper. If you wish to wrap your hamper in a cellophane hamper bag, please see product ref WSBBVL Please Note: Because our wicker hampers are made using a natural product and hand-made processes, please be aware that the size and shade can vary slightly from batch to batch with an agreed tolerance of +/- 1cm.
