We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our fast-paced sales team. An account manager with a proven track record in sales who can run a large portfolio of customers covering a broad range of sectors and product categories. Working under the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the management of 150+ accounts with a turnover of £1.5-2M per annum. You will have strong organisational skills and always be prepared to go above and beyond for your customers. You’ll be expected to work independently and build your sales pipeline whilst also working with the team to achieve company targets. The Role

  • Maintaining & developing relationships with our top clients.
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers by phone, email & face to face meetings.
  • Identifying & exploiting growth opportunities within existing accounts/sectors.
  • Seeking new business opportunities to achieve individual & company targets.
  • Proactive selling to targeted customers & prospects.
  • Identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities within customers and across sectors.
  • Preparation of sales forecasts and regular reporting on managed accounts & KPI’s.
  • You'll be based at our head office in Herne Hill, London (SE24) which is a 5 min walk from Herne Hill station and has direct train links from Victoria & Kings Cross.

Your Experience  

  • Minimum 3 years Account Management experience.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales essential.
  • Experience in packaging is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience within the food and beverage sector a bonus.
  • Strong selling & closing skills.
  • Ability to work within a team as well independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong conversational skills & confident telephone manner.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
