Description

16inch natural wicker hamper basket with white cotton liner gives our bestselling traditional wicker hamper that something extra. It comes complete with an undyed, naturally white cotton liner adding a homely finish to its existing traditional charm.

It's ideal for use as a food or drinks hamper gift which can be re-used by the recipient time and time again.

The wicker basket itself is made from steamed autumn willow, finished with sturdy faux leather straps for closing the hamper baskets, keeping your goodies safe.
 
We absolutely love wicker as a material because it’s a sustainable plant that's grown in abundance and cropped bi-annually. It’s the perfect ‘cash crop’ and directly contributes to the community in which it's grown. 
 
No artificial stains are used in the production of our wholesale wicker baskets, instead, we boil our willow for six to eight hours and then seal it with a water-based sealant. We allow it to dry naturally in the sun which makes it more durable and avoids using nasty coal-fuelled drying rooms.  
 
We love working with the artisan partners who make our wicker and respect the handicraft nature of the baskets they lovingly weave for us. Because our wicker hampers are made using a natural product and hand-made processes, please be aware that the size and shade can vary slightly from batch to batch with an agreed tolerance of +/- 1cm. We think this only adds to the wicker hamper's natural charm, no two baskets are the same, each one a unique piece of art.
