We love the Braxley Small Wooden Serving Scoop and it's incredibly useful in a catering and food setting.
Handcarved from 100% sustainable mango wood, the serving scoop is an ideal addition to any store or cafe for use with dry ingredients like sugar, washing powder, bath salts, loose tea and coffee etc.
As a sustainable product, mango wood ticks all the boxes.
It's native to India and grown in abundance.
It's strong, it's beautiful and its incredibly durable and water resistant which is why it's a winner when used in the manufacture of outdoor furniture.
But the really amazing thing about mango wood is that it's a byproduct of an already thriving industry - mango fruit.
Harvesting wood that was previously destroyed or burnt, it provides extra income to indigenous farmers and you with a beautiful material for display and presentation.
To keep your Braxley wooden serving scoop in great condition, simply wipe clean with warm water and a soft cloth but like all, avoid putting them in the dishwasher.
If washed in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Dishwashing liquid can be used.
To nourish and protect the natural wood, rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a cloth.
